My Review –
The book’s strengths include its portrayal of a heartwarming romance with a Bollywood touch, intricate plot development with twists and memorable characters, and the empowering message conveyed by three strong women. The author’s attention to detail in scenes, particularly in portraying intimate moments, is commendable.
While the book has several positive aspects, it does have some drawbacks. Some parts of the story are predictable, and an abrupt tragedy can be heartbreaking for readers. Additionally, the pacing is slow at the beginning but accelerates towards the end.
Overall, this book is a great choice if you enjoy romance novels with a Bollywood feel and appreciate well-developed characters and family drama. It captures the essence of Mumbai with Bollywood references and nostalgic song mentions. The book is easy to read and perfect for a weekend escape. It explores themes of love, family, and empowerment, all set against class differences and dramatic experiences.
In essence, “Love & (Mellow) Drama” is a captivating and emotional love story that leaves a lasting impression on readers. It’s a tale of love, hardships, relationships, dreams, and resilience, with a touch of Bollywood magic.
